Chief Ministers from various states attended the meeting of the 8th Governing Council of the Niti Aayog, which was presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday.
The gathering is now taking place at Pragati Maidan's freshly built Convention Center.
“Viksit Bharat @2047: Role of Team India” is the topic of the event.
Rajnath Singh, Nirmala Sitharaman, Amit Shah, Smriti Irani, Dharmendra Pradhan, Piyush Goyal, and Narendra Singh Tomar were among the Union Ministers present.
Chief Ministers of the following states are in attendance: Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu of Himachal Pradesh, Bhupesh Baghel of Chattisgarh, Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan of Madhya Pradesh, Pushkar Singh Dhami of Uttarakhand, Pema Khandu of Arunachal Pradesh, Manik Saha of Tripura, Manohar Lal Khattar of Haryana, Bhup
Arvind Kejriwal of Delhi, Mamata Banerjee of West Bengal, Bhagwant Mann of Punjab, Nitish Kumar of Bihar, K Chandrashekar Rao of Telangana, MK Stalin of Tamil Nadu, Ashok Gehlot of Rajasthan, and Pinarayi Vijayan of Kerala all made the decision to abstain.
